The OCD Centre of Manitoba is looking to fill the position of Executive Board Member – Treasurer. Board meetings occur once a month with one annual general meeting in June. Board members must also contribute throughout the year to different portfolio items involving outreach, education, and promotion events.
We are currently seeking individuals with accounting and payroll knowledge and previous board and/or executive experience. Specifically we are looking for knowledge of non-profit finances, budgeting, bookkeeping, payroll and remittance, and non-profit year-end. The estimated accounting time is 4-5 hours a month. This is in addition to monthly board meetings.
As we are a mental health non-profit, we prefer candidates with lived-experience (individual or family/friend) with OCD, OR experience in the health care /mental health field.
